Always at the forefront of emergent technology, Alison has built next generation businesses from the ground floor for multi-billion entities such as Walmart, Dolby Laboratories, NBC Universal, Liberty Media and Omnicom. Following her distinguished 15+ year global business development tenure in technology and media, Alison is now a certified executive coach, talent development consultant and humanistic researcher. Her doctoral research focuses on workplace curiosity and associated mental, emotional and motivational attributes. As workplace curiosity empirical research is relatively nascent, Alison is one of the leading pioneers of empirical research in this area. Her work is published in various domestic and international leadership, business and HR publications and journals such as Journal of Organizational Change Management, Development and Learning in Organizations: An International Journal, Graziadio Business Review, Training Journal, the Association of Talent Development award winning TD Magazine, Pharmaceutical Executive and CEOWORLD Magazine.
Alison regularly works with clients focused on leadership development, team mindset upshifting and cohesion, customer-centricity and business re-imagination. Alison has worked with executives and teams in Technology, Media, Healthcare and Academia from organizations such as Hulu, Verizon Media, Dolby Laboratories, Transdigm, Anthem Blue Cross, Stanford Health Care, among others; and, has a knack for connecting and working with cross-generational leadership. Alison also serves as the inaugural Research Fellow appointed to the USC Annenberg Center for Third Space Thinking contributing empirical rigor and thought leadership to soft skills development.
